New Beginning..

today - 29 jan, my first reporting day at CS.

i was lucky enuff to be release early today (at 11pm) as i dun have the various applications for work up yet.. hee..

but i gotta noe that there is changes in my working hrs.. the usual 3pm - 1am, now becomes 4pm-2am.

i'm kinda sad to noe abt the change.. i think 1am is okie.. early. still in time for some clubbing & drinking activities.. 2am seems a bit late for anythin..

but well.. its nt up to me anyway..

the environment at CS is v diff from my previous co.

the flat org. structure seems cool.. its nt tat kind u will find everywhere.. in this way, u might b even sitting next to a VP yar.. n learn ropes n other other stuffs frm him/her..

though a day there might nt b enuff to determine how is life is gg to be like for the rest of the time, but im sure they are really v helpful n friendly peeps - no airs at all..

somethin interesting happen today..

as the director of my grp was bz the whole day n so i was nt intro to him.. n i din noe who he is although he is sitting v near me.. n when i was juz walking towards the pantry, a guy approaches me and say 'Hi adeline, welcome abroad'.. i din really wonder y or feel surprise as the ppl there r very friendly.. so i replied by saying 'thanks.. btw, you are??' den he replied 'i'm the person sitting inside..' haha.. I was stunned lor.. cos i din noe he is MY director.. hee..

work wise.. i still on the job training lo.. I'm sure all newbies goes thru this process.. so i really hope i can learn the ropes fast.. : )

& I'm officially done.

i guess no one has such big problems when they resign as compared to wat i experience..

finally they decided to give way..and so i dun need to trouble myself further to call up MOM again..

thank god, the VP is nt as irresponsible n stubborn as my own g.s.m..

i felt this yr has been rather 'challenging'..

oni 3 weeks into the new yr, i had lotsa big issues to see to..

is tat really becos its the yr of the RATS??!!?? hmm...

anyway, i got back to branch today to pick up my stuff..

bidding goodbyes to my colleagues..

hmm.. i can juz say.. its kinda sad to leave an environment which I'm so used to..

& my colleagues are one of the better ones i ever had since i started working..

but i noe, time waits for no man...

my departure w uob oso marks the beginning of a new chapter.. .

hope everything will be better den expected.. *crossing my fingers...

i will miss u peeps

its v windy n nice place to chill..

was thinking, dunno when will i get to go out like this after i started my new job..

i guess all these wld b captured as wat we call 'beautiful memories'??

i will definately miss these grp of peepss..

my 1st entry of the new yr - 2008

A year has quietly passed

dun think there is a need for me to emphasize further on how time flies..

the end of yr 2007, also marked the end of my very 1st yr as a full time working adult since I've graduated from uni..

its has been a fulfilling year.. with new challenges and excitement.. n new colleagues..

yr 2007 has been an eventful yr.. with the sub prime crisis, affecting greatly on the world economy n our shares prices..

n nt forgeting the national tragic of our dragon boat rowers..

i cannot emphasized oso on how grateful am i for 'life', being able to still live each day healthily..

new yr, ppl talk abt new resolutions..

mine is a lot simpler this yr - to live each day happily..

i see the vulnerablility of life

so yar.. be happy, happy always..

n im changing to a new position !!

hope i work happily there..
