GET RID OF THOSE OLD CLOTHES!!!!!

Many a times, we shop for new clothings. Especially during tis crazy GSS season.

but does getting rid of old clothes simply means dumping them into a bin?

wat i wish to share today is to Put off your old self...& put on the new self.

When you entertain certain thoughts in the privacy of your own mind you may be tempted to excuse yourself by saying, "What harm will it do?" What harm? More than you know! Ultimately you become whatever you dwell on. Paul writes; "Take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ" (2 Co 10:5 NIV). Take control of your thoughts or they'll take you places you don't want to go!

Again Paul writes, "Put off your old self...put on the new self." Now you may not want to admit that you're still wearing some of those old clothes. But the truth is, you can't put on the new man till you first take off the old one. Furthermore, you can't hang those old clothes in the cupboard for a rainy day, or leave them on the floor to be tripped over. You've got to get rid of them!

Read these words carefully: "Stop telling lies...let us tell our neighbours the truth...Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. If you are a thief, quit stealing...use your hands for good hard work...give generously to others in need. Don't use foul or abusive language. Those are old clothes - get rid of them!

yeah. went shopping again.. though i shop alone but i bought lotsa clothings back with me!! :) retail therapy, n more n more of that.. my work is overwhelming and i guess the only and fastest way to get away w it--- yes. its to shop, shop n shop.

i'm quite satisfield with my buying.. from tops to skirts to dresses and to cardigarn. yup, i hav at least a piece for each item.. :) also means a HUGE hole burnt in my wallet!!! :(

in addition to my shopping, i went for this DIAMOND PEEL facial thingy just the other day and it seriously cost me a bomb! SOS!!! i need a Financial Controller to take charge of my money.. coz i'm soo BROKE.

i was told to save or rather start saving.. its hard seriously with the kind of lifestyle and spending habits of mine.. ya. i noe i need to start somewhere. hopefully soon. commit myself to do that after my hongkong trip.. - keeping my fingers crossed.

i'm looking forward to travelling to hk but hey, we haven got the tix & accommodations book?!?

Yup, I finally manage to steal time to blog a bit. haven had the time since i joined my current co. yes, busy busy busy is wat i experience every day..

had been a while since i last went clubbing. yes, i went zouk again. wherelse rite..it was a crazy night though, with lotsa n lotsa ppl squeezing here, there.. din enjoy at all actually.

went sentosa yester!! yeah.. its a really nice place now.. with almost all renovations done.. i hope to go there as often as possible to throw my heavy work loads off.. hey babes, tot we have a date at sentosa like a long time AGO ?!? why aren't we there yet!!!

i went to try out the luge.. its was HIGH. as in really high up and im kinda afraid of heights can.. but i did complete the 2 way ride but forgot to take pics.. too tired to remember everythin i suppose.. :-(

Weee....today's the last day of training... !!!! which also means that I'm going to fight the real battle soon.. !!! a mixture of feelingss i guess.. felt gd cos its finally over with the boring training but on the other hand, I'm not most willing to be stationed in the bank yet!!!! i rather day dream during training... to be honest, I'm quite worried abt what going to happen to me in the branch.. afraid of weird customers asking me things that i do not know.. like the operations of the bank etc.. I mean, i tot i'm suppose to be fully focus on the sales and production... why am i hav to be bothered by the administation and paper work??? ~ well, maybe tats what we call multi-tasking huh?!?

leaving my new found frens cum colleagues of 3 weeks.. i gonna start all over again on the coming mon in my new branch!~though time are short but its nice knowing them.. we had our 'last lunch' tog at TM ~ AJISEN.. taken some pics but gg to dl them later.. lets hope we can meet up somewhere somehow ba... good luck to everyone of us!!!! cheerrsssss........!!!

i was really looking forward to the performance weeks before and yupz, it did not disappoint me at all.. the singing, beautiful props and the music captured by attention for the 2 hrs. the cast was really awesome! even now the stary stary scences of the musical still flashes in my mind!!

its really worth catching it! i guess the peeps who went with me will agree as well.. photos are still with ru and pam.. so while waiting, i upload some pics of the play first..

yeah. finally catch spidy 3 on friday after my session with yiru. Ru is finally freed!!frm her hectic and torturing exams.. hope she can enjoy life to the fullest before stepping out to the society to work.. back to the movie, i heard frm others that they prefer spidy 2 to 3 .. well, if u ask me, it will be spidy 3 for me.. with more characters and the touching story of friendship and love..juz tat its a bit lengthly..one of the 'muz-watch' movie of the yr.. looking v forward now to the 'pirates' and 'harry potter'..

hurray for the weekends are here! Phew. A week of faraway land training has gone by. got release early today~3pm.. the trainer today dam slack man, test nv finish oso nvm cos he gave us the ans to it. and let us off early, not forgetting a 1 1/2 hr lunch break.. went Century Sq & saw Kym Ng & this quan yifeng filming for a variety show. i always wonder y they hav to talk so loud and always do big actions.. nevertheless, after staring a while at them with my fellow colleagues, we went shopping.. hee. wat can be better den to shop rite? my Colleague, Serene suggested to go to a particular shoe shop and we did. Guess wat, we spend the entire time there until we were like a bit late for class. haha. & being vain, as usual, i nv return empty handed. i bought 2 pairs and so does Serene! poor alan, the only guy among the trios, sitted there and waited patiently until we r both done!

I absolutely love my heelss to bittss...can wait to put my feet in them.

mentioning abt the trios, yesh, i only hang out with the other 2 colleagues cos the rest of the class either look or really are too snobbish or they are SUPER unfriendly. but i did managed to make some other frens there who are pretty ok, but we are not really nt on the same frequency so apparently only serene and alan are on the same freq..& they are much friendly and full of 'cocks'.. apparently i tot being in sales or rather customer service sector, pp should be more friendly?!?

Allow me side track a bit, i start to really hate this blog skin changing thingy cos everytime when i change the blog skin the entry i made previously 'run' and the default color oso changes..!! gosh, its so 'maddening'...made my entry so ugly and untidy!!! is there somethin i can do to counter this problem?!?

yup. apart from spending time sleeping & meeting up with frens over the 1 month break, i went spa. located @ yishun safra club, the place is simply cosy! & u can watch the hunks swimming @ the common pool frm inside.. weett. simply forgotten abt the city stress.. totally love the place to bitsss..

Alrighty. Finally, survived thru my first day of training after resting for a month!! my other collagues who are oso at the training were not as friendly and pro-active as compared to those at Pru. but one thing abt them is that they are all freaking RICH!! well, not to mention all of them carrys oni either Prada,LV,Gucci, the 2 girls sitting on my left and right wore ROLEX diamond watches... #@%*!!! well, if you see how old they look and wat they have on them u will definately swear like i do...

after training, i decided to de-stress a bit by doing some shopping.. & i realise all the stuffs are so EX!!!! is all the pp all so rich now or am i the oi one that is nt?!? i wan to wear pretty pretty clothes to look pretty pretty...arghh... but a piece of rag in the mall nowadays easily cost up to $50bucks. not to mention those of better quality.. shit. i realise i'm in need of more $$$$...

anyway, catch the movie '200 pounds beauty', that is the reason for the title for this post.. dam, i wan to do plastic surgery! the ger looks hot! but on the whole, its quite a touching show, i tried all efforts to fight back tears but still, shed a tear.

got to sleep soon, i got to get back to training @ tampines @ 9am. & to top it up, i have got tests every single day! !! and the passing rate is 80%. ~p.s: i cannot be late, if not i will be reported to head division.~stress.. hope i can get all this shit over and done with soon!

Just Thoughts.

Its a lazy wed afternoon. Waking up aimlessly, as usual, my long & boring day kicks in.

It has been almost a month since i been staying home, unemployed. The boredom in me builts up day by day & I just feel like going nuts! Though I'm starting on my new job soon, I'm not at the least excited abt it. I'm just glad that finally i can get rid of the loneliness.

Times zoom by like nobodys' biz and its one third of the yr 2007, GONE. wat have i achieve so far? ~ my ans: NUTS.. I'm just sleeping my life away & i totally DETEST that happening to me. wat happen to all those resolutions i made to myself? With one third of the yr gone, I made a self checks and realise nothing has been done. Hopefully, its just all nt too late to get on back to the right track of life.

Anyway, I met up with my group of gals over a hearty dinner & its nice to see everyone well, happy & fine. looking back, it was 10 years ago since we first met one another! it's a decade ago! can u believe how fast we are AGING!?!

Fri the 13th...

Yup, my 23rd Bday happen to fall on a day which many people of many many decades believed to be an unlucky day ~ Fri, the 13th.

According to History, Many believe that Friday itself is an unlucky day and also the number 13. so the combination of the both makes its a bad bad day..however, i'm not really bothered by tat..

On the night b4, I had a pre-celebration with my family. It was juz a simple affair. dinner and a cake along with a birthday song. after that, everythin remailns peaceful again.

i can stil recall the suprise visit by peiqi n kaini. Tat was LAST YR! man, its already 1yr ago. I was thinking to myself that this yr probaly gotta be a quiet bday wit every1 so busy with their stuffs.. but hey, i still manage to get a little suprise frm Mr. Chia. Sang me a bday song and allow me to drive his car!! haha. Thanks!! its was really nice of u to remember my bday, though u are nt really sure! ha. At last, someone took me away frm the boring day.

Peiqi was also v nice to wake up early in the morning to sing ktv with me. i miss ktv-ing!!! she qing chang a bday song for me .. thanks for the cake the and ktv session u treat me to!! I din have any elaborated celebrations this yr, (only had the ktv session with Qi). On a postive side, many of my frens whom i seldom see nowadays sent me their well-wishes, tats including my CLIENTS!! Thanks all the sweeties!

One of the most wonderful thing happen to me today!!

i just want to shout out LOUD to everyone that :

I PASS MY DRIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it was SO unbelivable.. after so much efforts, sadness and tears, i finally MADE it.

I was over the moon and near to tears when i saw the tester giving me a passed on my slip! hey, it was my 3rd try ya, and i din even think that i will make it this time round as well as i din have much preparations. So can you imagine the excitement going thru me in juz short few mins.

I'm really grateful and i felt i was dam lucky to pass. Really. i swear i drove quite badly as compared to my normal days. Both my feet were shivering and i almost cant stand up on my feet when i get out of the car!

Pardon me if I sound very weird over here as I still cannot get over the excitement yet!

To be truthfully, I felt very bliss lately.

Firstly, i got myself a new job, one that I'm looking forward to and it pays me quite reasonable.
Den of cos, its getting my licence. It the most desirable thing I ever wanted!

What more can i ask for, seriously. From young, i used to think that gd things oni happen to others but NOT ME. finally, i have got this chance to taste what it really feels like achieving something I really want in life. It was a gift frm heaven, and I thank God for all these....

I am embarking on a NEW Beginning, May God bless me and may everything runs smoothly....

Alrighty..its already the last day of the year of doggy.. welcoming next, is the pinky pig!

I got a surprise today.. hmm, my daddy came home to visit us :) its been a while since i last saw him ~(i bump into him at my house life's lobby ages ago). guess wat, he aged a lot, he even wore glasses..my sister almost can't recongise him! man, there is a undescribable feeling when i saw how much he aged. at that instance, i almost shed tears. dunno why, but i juz feel like..

i saw his wrinkled face with thining hair behind the gates.I couldn't really figure out why that man who used to be so charming can aged that much. is that really what pp meant by 'shui yue de hen ji' ? he din come inside, merely standing outside the gates chating w my sis & I.

its was just a short 10 to 15 mins conversation i reckon and he left. I started to miss him and ok... i did shed a few tears, and wishfully thinking that if only he is still with us.

For years, i told myself that i shouldn't miss and care abt someone who let me down in the first place. guess, i will get over it soon. but den again, its was indeed a real reunion !

Hi peeps! Yes, i went to catch our lions live at the national stadium. My first time catching S'pore team live in action!! & S'pore won by a dramatic penalty kick - 2:1.

The stadium was already filled with a sea of 'RED' supporterss when i reached!! Weather was super fantastic - real cooling. Feeling excited as it was my very first time, we manage to find a spot n settled down quickly in the midst of the reds. Din realise that the stadium is that big until that day.. haha. but anyway, our dearest national stadium (as shown below) is going to be another chapter of the History..

Fishing Trip @ 24.12.2006

Spent a total of 10 hours out in the sea. It was like a jurongville students gathering, 10 of us all from jurongville sec went on this fishing trip.the weather wasn't fantastic, it started raining soon we got out to the sea. but it did not diminish all our excitement. It was nice seeing everyone again on this festive season, and its a nice time to catch out with one another. We bought lotsa food and sweetss.. eg. cup noodles, biscuits, bread, can food..& of cos games!

it was pouring midway, the guys still brave the rain and continue fishing outside. while the gers & some of the guys went to take shelter inside and started playing games.

We had lots of fun playing pictionary-a draw & guess game & the gers team won!! haha. den it was 'heart attack time', it was crazy, we juz hit as hard as we could. n we ended up red swollen hands!!!

it was a nice experience in all. however, i did not manage to take a grp pic as everyone is scatter all over. wat a waste.

Its the time of the month! ~ the release of my final exam results..

phew.. i cleared all. I was v thankful to all the gods and lords that made me through man.. really.. thanks for the blessings and for hearing my ongoing prayers ever since the day my last paper end.. heez.

Finally, somethin is going alright for me. & i can loudly claim that i'm a GRADUATE!!!! I'm so happy ..

When the happiness subside, the fact of being an adult surfaced. . Though the path ahead is not brightly lit , i hav no more excuse to procastinate my plans.. Pondering over wat i wan to do vs wat i need to do. . i came to a decision. Life's cruel. Lets faced up. I decided to do wat i need to do instead. I intend to get myself an accounting related job so that i can fulfill part of my CPA requirements & den complete my CPA.. Yup yup. tat is A-de's plans in the next 3 yrs. Wish me luck .....

Life seems to be cruel towards me.. things that i wan badly seems to get further & further frm me!! arghhHHH!. i juz can't describe the disappointment & agnony i felt throughout this period of time.. i'm utterly disappointed in myself. i tried times & times to pick up frm where the disappointment left me. yet time & time again, i saw myself at that very same spot, persuding myself to brace up again. its not only a mental torture but also a thrash to my belief & faith i had in myself.

how long is these goin to last? when can i see the sunshine in my life.. my current life is full of question marks..& empty space. .when can all these shit ends....

25th Nov'06 - my 2nd Flea market @ scape.

This time round, the flea market was run by my sista & myself & the pdts we were selling were proudly imported..!

had a nicely decorated booth & biz was brisk even at e beginning. after like one to 2 hours, i did a quick calculations & realise biz was rather gd. the other time, there wasn't much biz at the beginning so was surprised that tis time was better despite there was no much crowd available..

little did i expect, it started RAINING cats & dogs at the 'prime time'!! we were drenched but we were more anxious abt out stuffs den ourselves. trapped in the little umbrella, half my body was wet, all i wished was to hav the sun out again.. to side track a bit, my neighbour stall was so inconsiderate as she had most of the umbrella n din offer to turn it round so tat sista & i won't be tat wet. sigh. wel, to add it on, she was a MIC! maybe is explains y we din get the kind offer..

when the rain stops, we quickly lay out our stalls again in hope to make it up to the time lost while it was raining. juz after we made a $5 deal, it started raining again!!sigh. & it goes on a few times!! i was quite disappointed as i tot it will juz continue to rain for the whole day. finally, rainy god decided to stop tat prank on us & it was sunny sunny again..

we ended the day with $260.00, not v bad given that there wasn't a large crowd & it rain for hours so we were stil quite pleased.

Losing faith in relationships...

Met up with my client today & we discuss on the topic of 'Relationship-Marriages'. He told me that all guys cheat! His frens, collegues and even bosses cheat! well, after wat i heard frm him, it seem that its juz inevitable that man cheats.. is it really so impossible to love someone wholeheartedly? well, i'm not the best person to ans tis.. i'm a person who gives in to temptations.. but to think of it, i agree that we dun get to settle down with the one we really love the most.. & its so sad..

Falling in & out of love, i dunno what relationship is all abt.. there might not even be a person who really loves me before.. wat i see is oni companionship that pp are looking for..

now that cheating forms part of the game, who will stay faithful to their partners anymore.. on the positive side, maybe some will.. but most WONT!
